The sentences rewritten in the passive voice are as follows:

Instructions on how to make a 'sandwich':

  1. Soft bread of two slices is taken.
  2. Their crust is trimmed
  3. Butter is evenly applied to them
  4. The filling is prepared using cucumber or tomato slices, grated cheese, etc..,
  5. The filling is placed on one of the slices and it is covered with the other slice.
  6. The sandwich is pressed gently and chilled for some time.
  7. The sandwich is eaten when ready
  8. The sandwich will be tasted good.

Thus, each instruction for the preparation of making a sandwich is rewritten from active voice into passive voice.
