To Find :

An equation which best defines the mangoes in the boxes

Solution :

No. of mangoes in the 1 box = 50

1] let there are 1 box :

So, number of mangoes = 1×50

Or, number of boxes = 50

2] let there are 2 boxes :

so, number of mangoes = 2×50

or, number of mangoes = 100

3] Let there be 3 boxes :

So, Number of mangoes = 3×50

or, number of mangoes = 150

Similarly ,

if number of boxes is 'b'

Then, number of mangoes = 50b

Hence, the rule which best defines number of mangoes = 50b

Let the number of boxes be b .

Number of mangoes in a box = 50

Total number of mangoes =

\begin{gathered}\green{Number \: of \:mangoes \: in \: a \: box}\times\green{Number \: of \: boxes} \implies \\\end{gathered} \sf\bold\orange {50\:b}
