Question :-

  • ∠4 is Equal to ?

Solution :-

As we can see ∠4 is the exterior angle of given ∆ .

Now, we know that :-

  • An exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the opposite interior angles.

Lets See its Proof also :-

in ∆PQR, we have :-

→ ∠1 + ∠2 + ∠3 = 180° . (Angle sum Property.)

→ ∠3 + ∠4 = 180° .(Linear Pair).

So, from both we get,

∠1 + ∠2 + ∠3 = 180° = ∠3 + ∠4

→ ∠1 + ∠2 + ∠3 = ∠3 + ∠4

∠1 + ∠2 = ∠4. (Proved).

Hence, we can conclude that, An exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the opposite interior angles.

And,

∠4 is Equal to sum of ∠1 and ∠2.
