see figure, C and 2C are joined in series combination. so, equivalent capacitance , C' = C × 2C/(C + 2C)

= 2C/3

as it is given that, C = 6uF

so, equivalent capacitance, C' = 2/3 × 6uF = 4uF = 4 × 10^-6 F

now, charge flows through battery of emf 10volts as shown in figure.

so, charge flows through batter , q = C'V

= 4 × 10^-6 × 10

= 40 × 10^-6 C or 40uC

hence, charge flows through battery is 40uC. as we know, charge stored in each capacitor are same because these are joined in series.

from conservation of charge.

charge flows through battery = charge stored on each capacitor = 40uC

hence, charge sorted in the capacitor of capacitance C is 40uC.
