4. In the given figure, l || m and n is a transversal angle 1 = 115°, angle 2 = 110°. Is l || m.​

The angle opposite to angle 1 (let's call it angle 3) = angle 1 (vertically opposite angles) = 115°

If l were parallel to m then, angle 3 would be equal to angle 2 (corresponding angles)

Since angle 2 is not equal to angle 3, that is , 110° is not equal to 115°, therefore l and m are not parallel

Answer:

1 and 2 are alternate angles......if l was parallel to m, angle 1 should have been equal to angle 2.....but this is not the case......so, l is not parallel to m
