4. Length of a rectangle is 16 cm less than twice its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 100 cm, find its
length and breadth.​

Answer:

Let breadth be x

then,

2(2x-16+x) = 100

4x-32+2x=100

6x-32=100

6x=100+32

6x=132

x=132/6= 22

As x =22cm

breadth = 22cm

Length = 2x-16

            = (22x2)-16

            = 44-16

            = 28cm

Verification:-

2(22+28)

= 2x50

=100cm (Perimeter)
