IN CASE OF MR. ANKIT
Simple interest on Rs 60000 for 3 years at 9 % p.a.
= PRT / 100
= 60000 × 9 × 3 / 100
= 600 × 9 ×3
= 16200

If he gets 16200 as simple interest from Mr. Ankit then he will get Rs ( 31320 - 16200 ) as simple interest from Mr. Venugopal

IN CASE OF MR. VENUGOPAL
SI = 31320 - 16200 => 15120
R = 9%
T = 3 yrs.

P = SI × 100 / 9 × 3
P = 15120 × 100 / 9 × 3
P = 1512000 / 27
P = 56000

ANSWER = PRINCIPAL = RS. 56000
