Heya..!!

i) Nitrogen is the macro element which is deficient in soil or insufficient in soil

ii) Generally Plants of fabaceae such as peas,groundnuts,beans..etc have a special feature of harbouring Rhizobium bacteria which converts the atmospheric nitrogen into nitrates and nitrites or in form of which plant requires hence by growing these prior to wheat it enhances availability of nitrogen thereby increasing yield..

1. Nitrogen is deficient in the soil.

2. Peas is a leguminous plant and it has the quality to convert atmospheric nitrogen into an usable form of salt of nitrate which is dissolve by the plant. Therefore,It is helpful to replenish the soil.
