1)Nitrogen is the nutrient found insufficient

(i) pea plant is a leguminous crop.which has nitrogen fixing bacteria call Rizhobium in its root nodules which helps in fixing Nitrogen gas

2) Pea plants are also called legumes that have root nodules. They fixes nitrogen into the soil with the help of nitrogen fixing bacteria called Rhizobium by storing the nitrogen in their root nodules. In this way, nitrogen is fixed in the soil which cannot be replenished directly . Thus, pea plant will help in replenishing the soil lacking nitrogen.
