(ii) Myopia is the most common refractive error of the eye. This is also known as the short-sightedness. It is a condition of the eye where light focuses in front of the retina instead of on the retina. This may be a result of a cornea that is too curved for the length of the eyeball. This may also be caused due to the lens that is too thick.
