Let peaches be P and grape fruit be G.
ATQ,
a) 4P + 3G = 1.30. -(1)
b) 2P + 3G = 1.20. -(2)
on combining first two equations
2( 4P + 3G =1.30)
4( 2P+ 4G = 1.20)
8P+6G=2.6. -(3)
8P+16G=4.8. -(4)
ON subtracting equation 3 and 4 we get
10G = 2.2
G=O.22
putting the value of G in first equation
4P+3*0.22=1.30
4P+0.66=1.30
4P=0.64
P=0.16
c) cost of 3 peaches is equal to 3 into 0.16 is equal to euro 0.48
the cost of 2 grapefruits is equal to 2 into 0.22is equal to euro 0.44.
on adding the cost of 3 peaches and 2 Grape fruits we get 0.92 euro.
