Answer:

Let a=10 , b=12.

10= 2×5.

12=2×2×3=2²×3.

LCM= 2²×5×3= 4×5×3= 60.

HCF= 2.

Now,

=> LCM×HCF

=> 60 × 2 = 120 -----(1)

So,

=> a × b

=> 10 × 12= 120 -----(2)

Since,

=> LCM×HCF = a×b

=> 120 = 120.

=> LHS = RHS.

Hence proved..
