Given :- JL bisects ∠KJM and KL=4 and ML=4 and m MJL= 40, Find ∠KLJ.

A) 40

B) 46

C) 42

D) 44

Answer :-

In Right ∆JML,

→ ∠LJM = 180° - (90° + 40°) { By angle sum property.)

→ ∠LJM = 50°

so,

→ ∠KJL = 50° { since JL is bisects ∠KJM .}

then, in right ∆JKL,

→ ∠KLJ = 180° - (90° + 50°) { By angle sum property.)

→ ∠KLJ = 180° - 140°

→ ∠KLJ = 40° (Ans.)

Note :- if asked ∠KJL , it should be 50° .
