Hello,

if you know the divisibility test of 3, it says that if the sum of all the digits in a number equals to a multiple of three, then it is divisible by 3. For example:

369 is divisible by 3 bcoz 3+6+9= 18 and 28 is a multiple of 3.

Now, 75*, let's replace the star with the lowest number that when we add to 7 and 5, gives us a multiple of 3.

7+5+*= 12+*

here, 12 is already a multiple of 3 but if we add 3, we get 15 which is the next multiple.

So we can replace the star with 3

753 is divisible by 3.

Hope this helps :)
