A body of mass 10 kg falls from a height of 50 cm. Calculate : (i) velocity of the body (ii) kinetic energy of body when it just reaches the ground level. Does the velocity depend upon the mass of the body? Explain. [Take g = 10 m s-2​

Mass=10 kg

Height = 50 cm =0.5 m

W= mgh

=10*10*0.5

=50 J

Since kinetic energy=potential energy by law of conservation of energy
