3x+2y=13.

3x=13-2y

x=13-2y/3.............(2)

Substituting the value of x in equation (1),

2(13-2y/3) +3y=12

26-4y/3+3y=12

26-4y+9y/3=12

26-4y+9y=36

26+5y=36

5y=36-26

5y=10

y=10/5

y=2

Substituting the value of y in equation (1) we get,

2x+3(2) =12.......... (1)

2x+6=12

2x=12-6

2x=6

x=6/2

x=3
