4 m^2 = 40000 cm^2

Now,

Required ratio = 40000 / 800

= 400 / 8

= 50 / 1

= 50 : 1

1 sq. m = 10000 sq. cm
So, 4 sq. m = 40000 sq. cm

So, required ratio =\frac {40000}{800}
= 50:1.
