a+ 3d =3 a
3a-a-3d=0
2a-3d=0--------(i)
a+6d=(a+2d)+1
a+6d=a+2d+1
a+6d-a-2d=1
a and a will be cancelled because they have opposite sign
4d=1
d=1/4
on putting d in (i) equation
2a-3d =0
2a-3×1/4=0
2a-3/4=0
2a=3/4
a=3/8
