ANSWER :

The cost of 18 kg wheat = Rs.216

The cost of 1 kg wheat = $\frac{216}{18}$ = Rs.12

To be found :-

The cost of 1 quintal wheat

= 12 × 100          [ $\therefore$ as 1 quintal = 100 kg ]

= Rs.1200

Hence,

The cost of 1 quintal wheat is Rs.1200
