4. The formula for finding the area A of a triangle is

given by A=1/2bh, where b and h represent the base
and the height of the triangle respectively.
(i) If b = 20 cm and h = 45 cm, find the area of
the triangle.
(ii) If A = 30 cmand b = 10 cm, find the height of
the triangle.​

  • area of triangle = 1/2(bh)

=> 1/2(20)(45) = 10(45) = 450

  • area of triangle =1/2(bh)

=> 1/2(30)(10) = 30(5) = 150
