the ratio of circumference to diameter is 22:7 or 22/7

the value of pi is 3.1415....... but if we divide 22 by 7 we would get an answer like this 3.142857142857.... which is a repeating non terminating number.The reason behind this is that to make our calculations easy as we need only 2 more decimal places after 3 that is .14 so if we divide 22by7 we would get the 2 important decimal points which is easy to remember as if we forget the value of pi i.e 3.14 we can get it by dividing 22 by 7 .
