Concept Introduction:-

An electrical circuit's resistance is how it resists current flow.

Given Information:-

We have been given that Three equal resistance each of 10 ohm are connected as shown and the maximum power which can be consumed by each is 20 W.

To Find:-

We have to find that the maximum power that can be consumed by the combination.

Solution:-

According to the problem

The Effective resistance of 2 parallel resistors are

R=R_{1}R_{2}/(R_{1}+R_{2})

 =100/20=5

Then there is 2 resistors of 5 and 10 in series,their effective resistance,

R=R_{1}+R_{2}\\=5+10\\=15

now we know

p=I^{2} R

From the equation we know

$p \propto R$

10 Ω is used  20 watt is consumed

so when 15 Ω is used \frac{20}{10} \times 15=30

Final Answer:-

The maximum power can be consumed is 30 W, the option C is correct.
