of 60 m, while the other is a rectangle whose breadth is 12 m. Which
plot of land has the greater area and by how much?​

2(l + b) = 4 \times s

2(l + 12) = 4 \times 60

2l + 24 = 240

2l = 240 - 24

l =  \frac{216}{2}

Area of Rectangle

108 \times 12 = 1296

Area of Square

 {60}^{2}  = 3600 \:  {m}^{2}

Difference

3600 - 1296 = 2304  \: {m}^{2}
