          Washing = 35 L

           Bathing = 86 L

           Cooking = 8 L

​            Gardening = 3 L

i) Total amount of water used in a day =

  35 + 86 + 8 + 3 = 132 L

ii) Amount of water in a day = 132 L

   Number of days in a week = 7

 

  So, amount of water in a week = 132 X 7 = 924 L

iii) Month of June has 30 days.

   So, amount of water in 30 days = 132 X 30 = 3960 L

iv) The year has about 366 [since 2012 is a leap year.]

  So, amount of water in  366 days = 132 X 366 = 48312 L
