Latimer Diagram : Tis diagram is a summary of standard electrode potentials of an element . In this diagram the the highly oxidized form of an element is written on the left side and the elements with lower oxidation states are written on right.

Latimer diagram is also used in finding if the the species is undergoing the disproportionation reaction or not .

In this diagram the species which is undergoing disproportionation reaction is Cl₂ and ClO₂⁻
