1 . Apical meristem: the meristamatic tissue which occur at the tip of roots and shoots and produce primary tissue is called apical meristems

2 . Intercalary meristem: the meristem which present occur in between mature tissue of the plant

3 . Secondary or lateral meristem: the meristem that occurs in the mature regions of root and shoot of many plants,particularly those that produce woody axis and appear later than primary meristem
