Once there was a girl named Sophie. She would speak lies and fool others. One day she thought of fooling her sister Emily who was in the same class. She took a box placed some pebbles and wrapped it up. She quietly went to her room. Her sister was not there in her room. She kept it on her bed and went away. After some time, Emily came to her room and saw the gift. Following was written on it,"Dear sister,I have made a gift for you. Please accept it. From Sophie."
She opened the gift but there were pebbles in the box. She ran towards Sophie and said,"Sophie it's not good to lie every time."She said,"But in some situations we have to lie. I will prove it."She challenged Emily. One day while Sophie and Emily were walking in the park, two men came and said,"Hey children, where is Mr. Lavigne's house. Clever Sophie guessed that there was some danger on them. She lied and pointed to inspector's house. They went towards the house but to their surprise they saw inspector Andrew. He said,"I caught you thieves."Then he rushed to Mr. Lavigne's house and told him that the thieves were planning to steal expensive things from his house. He thanked him for his help. Sophie called to Emily who watched the whole incident and said,"Now you know why in some situations we have to lie. If we had told them the truth they could have stolen everthing." Now they both were happy and safe.
