Short notes used to the briefing about something and reflect as the summary which used to be mix of paragraphs and pointers.

So, you can write short notes in points but you can include pointers in the middle portion of the note. And, upper and lower portion can be in form of paragraphs which could be formed with 2-3 sentences.

But, pointers alone can't be short note. And, paragraphs supposed to be monotonous, so to make your short notes presentable, you can always use the pointers.
