=> 4a^2 - ( 13 - 4 )a - 13

=> 4a^2 - 13a + 4a - 13

=> 4a( a + 1 ) - 13( a + 1 )

=> ( a + 1 ) ( 4a - 13 )

Putting the value of a,

=> ( x + 1 + 1 ) ( 4x + 4 - 13 )

=> ( x + 2 ) ( 4x - 9 )
