Answer :-

4 (x - 2) - 3 (2x + 2) = 2 (x - 1)

→ 4x - 8 - 6x - 6 = 2x - 2

→ 4x - 6x - 8 - 6 = 2x - 2

→ - 2x - 14 = 2x - 2

→ - 2x - 2x = - 2 + 14

→ - 4x = 12

→ x = - 3
