Dear Sir:
I hope this letter finds you in great spirits and health. I am writing to inform you that the house needs some immediate repair. As you know during the rainy season leaking and dampness usually occur. I have detected a few leaks in the drawing room. The paint has started to come off. There is water logging in the drain pipes. The electric wires and switches also need to be replaced.
We are facing a lot of inconvenience on account of all the above mentioned problems. You are requested to get the repairs done. If you allow, I can get the repairs done myself and the cost of the repairs can be adjusted in the rent later on. However, I need your approval first.
