OP perpendicular to AB ,OQ perpendicular to and AB parallel to CD. If AB =8 cm and CD = 6 cm,
find PQ.​

Where, OP² = OB² - PB²

=> OP² = 25 - 16

=> OP = √9

=> OP = 3cm

and, OQ² = OD² - QD²

=> OQ² = 25 - 9

=> OQ = √16

=> OQ = 4cm

So, PQ = OP + OQ = 3 + 4 = 7cm
