AM = (Sum of 40 numbers)/40 = 65

Sum of 40 numbers = 65 * 40 = 2600

When each of the values increase by 5, total increase = 40 * 5 = 200

Therefore, New sum = 2600+200 = 2800

New mean = 2800/40 = 70

Hope This Helps :)
