                       No. of uniforms stitched = 18

  • Length of cloth is given in meters and centimetres.
  • Convert the length of cloth into centimetres.
  • We know that, 1 m = 100 cm
  • ∴ Length of cloth, 40 m 50 cm = 40*100+50

                                           =4050 cm.

  • Now, length of cloth required to stitch one uniform = \frac{4050}{18}
  •                                                                          = 225 cm
  • Convert this length in meters, we get
