40% are men
30% are women
remaining percentage= 100-(40+30)=30%
which is children=30%=522
total population*30/100=522
total population=522*100/30
total population=1740 peoples

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

percent of children population = 30%

                                                   = 522

percent of women = 30%

                               = 522

now 10% = 174 persons

thus population of men = 174*4

                                       = 696

therefore total population of hill station

= 522+522+696

= 1740 people
