According to the given information, we can draw the free body diagram of the situation, (as shown in the figure given below)

Now, weight of man = 750N

let mass be m

then mg = 750

and g = 10m/s²

thus m = 75

from the FBD (free body diagram) we infer that,

R = ma + mg

R = 75 (3.5) + 75(10)

R = 1012.5 N

thus, the force exerted on floor = 1012.5N
