Let the total no. of students in the class be x
Therefore the no of girls= 44% of x
= 11x/25
The no of boys= 56% of x
=14x/25
As per question,
No. of girls in the class+6=No.of boys in the class
Therefore,
11x/25+6=14x/25
14x/25-11x/25=6
3x/25=6
3x=150
x=50
Therefore the no of students in the class are 50
