We can rationalise it as,

=)2^1/3 + 2^-1/3 = 2^1/3 + 1/(2^1/3)

=) (2^1/3 × 2^1/3 + 1)/(2^1/3)

(By taking LCM)

=) 2^2/3 + 1/( 2^1/3)

Multiplying and dividing by 2^8/3,

=) [2^8/3 (2^2/3 + 1)]/(2^1/3 ×2^8/3)

=) (2^10/3 + 2^8/3)/2^3

Hence rationalised.
