so 10% of the 400 oranges are bad, that means the good ones are

100% - 10% = 90%

Let the number of bad apples = x

C.P of (240 - x) apples = Rs. 600

S. P. of (240 - X)apples

= Rs. 3.5 ×(240 - x)

According to the question,

⇒3.5×(240 - x) - 600 = 198

x = 12

⇒x%=12240×100%

= 5%
