Using 2nd kinematical eqn.,

H=ut + 1/2at2

H=12×2 - 1/2×9.8×2×2

H=24-19.6

H=4.4m i.e s=4.4m

Put this value in 3rd kinamatical eqn we get ,,

v2=u2 + 2as

v2=12×12 +2×9.8×4.4

v2=144-86.24

v2=57.76

V=7.6m/s
