Given:

4A=3B=5C

To Find:

The ratio of A : B : C

Solution:

Given,

4A=3B=5C

Let 4A=3B=5C=k

∴ 4A= k, A= k/4

    3B= k, B= k/3

    5C= k, C= k/5

So, the ratio can be written as

k/4: k/3: k/5

find a common denominator, (by lcm)

15k/60 : 20k/60 : 12k/60

The ratio can be simplified to (by eliminating k/60)

15: 20: 12

Hence, the ratio of A: B: C is 15: 20: 12
