8.389g of HCl would react with 5 grams on MnO2.

Calculation of molar mass

$\mathrm{MnO}_{2}+4 \mathrm{HCl} \rightarrow \mathrm{MnCl}_{2}+\mathrm{Cl}_{2}+2 \mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{O}$

$How ~{many}{ ~grams}~ of ~{HCl }~would ~react ~with~ 5 \mathrm{~g} ~ on ~MnO2?

Molecular Mass of $\mathrm{MnO}_{2}=54.94+2(15.99)$

                                           $\Rightarrow 54.94+31.98$

                                            $\Rightarrow \quad 86.92 \mathrm{~g}$

Molecular Mass of $\mathrm{HCl}=1.01+35.45$

                                        $=36.45 \mathrm{~g}$

1 mole of $\mathrm{Mn}_{2} \mathrm{O} \quad 4$$\mathrm{Mn}_{2} \mathrm{O} \q4$ moles of $\mathrm{HCl}$

                                                                      $\Rightarrow \frac{5 \times 4 \times 36.46}{86.92}

                                                                        =\frac{m \times n \times \text { nolecularm }}{\text { molecular mass }}$

     $\Rightarrow$ mass of $\mathrm{HCl}=\frac{5 \times 4 \times 3646}{8692}$

      $\Rightarrow$ Mass of $\mathrm{HCl}=\frac{729.20}{8692}$

                       $\Rightarrow \quad 8.389 \mathrm{~g} .$

Thus, 8.389g of HCl would react with 5 grams on MnO2.
