4m+2n=6........(i)

2m+4n=18.......(ii)

Multiplying equation (ii) by 2 and then subtracting (ii) from (i) we get

-6n=-36

=>n=6

Putting n=6 in equation (i) we get

4m+2(6)=6

=>4m=-6

=>m= -3/2

Therefore, m= -3/2, n=6
