4s² - 4s + 1 = 0

{Approach 1} :
(2s)² - 2.(2s).(1) + (1)² = 0
(2s - 1)² = 0
s = 1/2, 1/2

OR

{Approach 2} :
4s² - 2s - 2s + 1 = 0
2s(2s -1) - 1(2s - 1) = 0
(2s - 1) (2s - 1) = 0
s = 1/2, 1/2

Thankyou!!!

 \alpha  +  \beta  =   \frac{ - b}{a} \\  \\  \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a }   \\ where \: a = 4  \\ b =  - 4  \: c = 1

( - b \frac{ + }{ - }  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} }  - 4ac) \div 2a
