Hey there !

Solution:

Trigonometric Identity: Sec²A - Tan²A = 1

Given Equation: 4 Tan²A - 4 Sec²A = ?

=> 4 ( Tan²A - Sec²A )

=> 4 [ -1 ( Sec²A - Tan²A ) ]

=> 4 [ -1 ( 1 ) ]

=> 4 ( - 1 )

=> 4

Hence the value of 4 Tan²A - 4 Sec²A is -4.

Hope my answer helped !

Heya

4 tan^2 A - 4 Sec^2 A

= 4 (tan^2 A - Sec^2 A)

Using identity

⏩1 + tan^2 A = sec^2 A⏪

so,

tan^2 A - sec^2 A = -1

= 4 (-1)

= -4

Hope this helps you.
