Question:

4x^2-25=0 quadratic equations???

Answer:

If we have to find the simple answer of x using quadratic formulae

 \longrightarrow 4 {x}^{2}  - 25 = 0

 \longrightarrow  \sf\pink{d \:=  \:{b}^{2}\:  - \:4ac}

 \longrightarrow d = 0 - 4(4)( - 25)

 \longrightarrow d = 16 \times 25

 \longrightarrow d = 400

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

now , using quad formulae

 \implies x =  \frac{ - b </strong><strong>±</strong><strong>  \sqrt{d} }{2a}

 \implies x =  \frac{ - b +  \sqrt{d} }{2a}  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{ - b -  \sqrt{d} }{2a}

 \implies x =   \frac{</strong><strong> </strong><strong>\</strong><strong>s</strong><strong>q</strong><strong>r</strong><strong>t</strong><strong>{</strong><strong>400</strong><strong>}</strong><strong> </strong><strong> </strong><strong>}{8}  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \:  x =  - \frac{ \sqrt{400}  }{8}

[tex] \implies [/tex][tex]x\: =\: \frac{ 20}{8} \: \: \: and \: \: \: x\:= -\frac{20}{8}

 \implies x = </strong><strong>5</strong><strong>/</strong><strong>2</strong><strong> \:  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \:  x =  - 5</strong><strong>/</strong><strong>2</strong><strong>

 \longrightarrow therefore , either x=5/2 or -5/2

 \sf {\boxed {\pink { </strong><strong>x\</strong><strong>:</strong><strong>=</strong><strong>\</strong><strong>:</strong><strong>5</strong><strong>0</strong><strong>,</strong><strong>-</strong><strong>5</strong><strong>0</strong><strong>}}}
