4x² + 4x + 1 = 0

By Mid Term splitting,

4x² + 2x + 2x + 1 = 0

2x(2x + 1) + 1(2x + 1) = 0

(2x + 1) (2x + 1) = 0

as 2x+ 1 = 0

then x = -1/2

hence the zeroes of the polynomial are -1/2 and -1/2

Answer:

Sol :- 4x^2+4x+1 =0

Now we factorise it

4x^2+2x+2x+1 =0

Now, we take 2x common from that

we get, 2x(2x+1) +1(2x+1) =0

we take (2x+1) common

(2x+1) +(2x+1) =0

Hence 2x+1 =0 , x =-1/2 is the only root of this equation
