Given : 4x+3y + 2z = 60, 2x+4y +6z =90 and 6x +2y+3z = 70

To Find :  Solve using matrix method

Solution:

4x+3y + 2z = 60

2x+4y +6z =90  

6x +2y+3z = 70

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}4&3&2\\2&4&6\\6&2&3\end{array}\right] \left[\begin{array}{ccc}x\\y\\z\end{array}\right] = \left[\begin{array}{ccc}60\\90\\70\end{array}\right]

AX = B

X = A⁻¹B

A⁻¹  =  Adj A / |A|

|A| = 4(12 - 12)  - 3(6-36) + 2 ( 4 - 24)

= 0  + 90 - 40

= 50

Adj A  =

X = A⁻¹B
