Answer:

4x+3y=5 ____(1)

3x+2y=4______(2)

in equation (2)

3x=4-2y

x=(4-2y)/3

put value of x in equation (1)

4[(4-2y)/3] +3y=5

(16-8y)/3+3y=5

taking L.C.M

(16-8y+9y)/3=5

16-8y+9y=5×3

16+y=15

y=15-16

y=-1

now put value of y in equation (1)

4x+3(-1)=5

4x-3=5

4x=5+3

4x=8

x=8/4

x=2

Ans. is x=2 and y=-1
