Given: 4x-5y=3.

2x-ky=12

Now here A1=4 ;B1=-5; C1=-3

A2=2

B2=-k

C2=-12

Now for unique Solutions

A1/A2 is not equal to B1/B2

4/2 is not equal to -5/k

2/1=-5/k

2k=-5

k=-5/2

so, the value of k should not be -5/2

You can take any value 3/2,2/9,3/4 etc.except -5/2.
